I believe his point is being in way too many episodes before being dropped and forgotten about for years.
Hey, I like Alexander! And Lwaxana Troi. And the episode that they both star in where we get to see Data in drag.
I am with you with Lwaxana, but Alexander is a step too far for me.
"Fistful of Datas" has Data in drag but I don't think Lwaxana was in that. Are you thinking of "Cost of Living"? I like that one. It was filmed not long after Gene died and you can see it in Majel's performance. She gives a speech about very old and alone, and you really feel it.
Thank you for the belly laugh, it was sorely needed.
I'm no Alexander hater, but I do believe that his early appearances could have been done with a mannequin and voiceover to the same level of effectiveness. (Possibly his later appearances too, but it's been 15+ years since I last watched those episodes.)
I like Alexander as a plot device. I do not like Alexander as an actual onscreen character
He is Worfs Mini-Me.
Dunno, Dr. Evil actually seemed to like Mini-Me
Yeah, and Dr. Evil also already had a son he didn't get along with.
He looks more like eight
Worf: .... no ... he has not eaten in four days ... food is not a requirement
One day he will grow up to be a torpedo and bring honor to his ship
This would better describe...
Emergency gahk storage.
Plot point of the week a few times, background noise the rest of the time.
I don't know what he is for, I don't know what he is against, the kid don't have any agenda. What kind of bullshit is that?
In DS9 they showed Alexander as a young teen and I wanted to see more of him. Sort of a young Worf.
In some ways, I thought that Alexander was even worse, TBH.
Well he had more range due to the older actor so they could've done more with that. He was kinda cute too. Being all clumsy and overly excited and all.
