Cannot speak for the group at large but a nice to have from a personal standpoint would be stickied How Tos hosted in your community for things like alt text that we could use links to refer people to.

Otherwise it is still too early to have a good idea where the needs are. A lot of time still going into figuring out how things work and where things are. Sure I will have more to bring up as I learn more.

Much like with Reddit, I’d love to have transcriptions on programminghumor@programming.dev. The most sustainable way to achieve the may be to foster a change in the culture, where OPs learn to and get used to providing their own transcriptions.

@KomaedaEatsBagels I don’t know about certain spaces but can you all federate with #KBin as well, so that you guys can work across platforms without needing to make a whole new community over there?
