I would love to see them setup a whole Street scene instance where we can have communities about fashion, art, trends, places, etcs.

That was one of my favorite subs, and I'm glad there's a start here!

Despite going a bit “mainstream” in the past few years, streetwear has always been counter culture at its core. Learning how to navigate the fediverse will be nothing for the people that had to calling randoms shops on the phone, in the early days of online shopping, to confirm if they had your size or if they were getting the new drop that week because they didnt have their stock listed on their website.

It's been somewhat depressing over on Reddit seeing the hordes of users turning on mods for not bowing to the admins, and even though I know it's a selection bias (increasingly the only people left on Reddit are those who are fine with licking a few boots to get them their regular dose of content) it's still heartening to see people continuing to stand up like this.

I'm not a streetwear-aware person (I'm assuming based on the name it's the sort of high-visibility clothing that construction workers working on roadways wear?) but I saw this thread pass across my /all feed and felt I should step in for a moment to give you all kudos. Keep up the OSHA-compliant counterculture in freedom from corporate greed! Or whatever it is that's going on in here!
