Is there any way to see the “all” stream from another instance (pretty much what wefwef does for lemmy.world when there's no account) when I’m logged into my instance?

“Home” is your subscribed communities, “all” is everything from all communities the instance your using is federated with and “local” is everything from only the instance you’re using.

Aha. The answer is to federate with more instances, then, it seems. Thanks!

I’m not 100% sure but I assume Lemmy.world is federated with a number of other instances. Also keep in mind it only shows the username (at least in compact view) in the post list. You have to open the actual post to see the full user@instance.
