What I ordered was tea seeds. What I got was… whatever this is.

They came by mail without any sort of accompinying letter or leaflet or any other information. The sender was something completely non-descript (uparcel-somethingsomething). Technically, I don't even know if this is even related to my order of tea seeds.

There is a phone number on the package. No idea if it would be a good idea to call…

*Edit: Many of you have said those look like mung beans. After googling what mung beans look like, I tend to agree. However, given the weird circumstances under which they were delivered to me, I'm not going to plant or eat them.

@waigl

They look like mung beans. Not sure though; there are so many kinds of beans.

These look like green mung beans, grow into mung bean sprouts when watered.

Yep, team mung here

edit: as a prepper I keep mung and lentil in bulk. They're great sources of nutrients, protein & fiber and they cook super fast and easy, no soaking required. They can be sprouted in two days providing microgreens and the body can digest them without heat in 2-3 days just by soaking and sprouting. Of course for longer term they can then be planted and harvested to keep the cycle going.

My apologies, I missed a warning on your other post:

The entire seed industry is notoriously and historically full of fraudsters. Most countries have enacted laws to protect the farmers/gardeners from this fraud. There is also a bunch of international treaties on the subject.

The most egregious larger fraudsters are usually caught. However small packet mail fraud with online retailers is rampant.

Mung beans for sure.

Mysterious beans? I would plant them out of town with my adventuring party because I love a Bag of Beans. Just be careful

@waigl That looks to me like sheep droppings.

Tho if you plant them, they won't grow into sheep.
