Despite it's glamour and rich history, new york has failed to build tourism capacity in the same way as other global tourism hot-spots have. The city is oriented around making money today , and the people of new York are amnesiac towards their own legacy, whereas European tourist towns are centred entirely around their history.

It really is," and report traumatic experiences in modern times such as "Everywhere i go on reddit now there are these dam scalpers - make it stop!" It seems the city has no respect towards its natural water resources.
