This headline pisses me off because the Vatican has actually declared war on other religions before, and I did not need that on a Sunday morning.
The same people that took the truth of Jesus and used it as control for centuries. Because they understood regular people can't fathom or deal with the truth that Jesus spoke. Most regular people don't have the heart to deal with the chaos that owns existence. They created a false bridge - priests - between man and truth as a safety net and control, which in itself is a lack of faith in Jesus' teachings, and also based off fear.
You will not find truth or God in nations, or industrialized religions.
Truth and natural law isn't held by nations or priests. Chaos reigns supreme and is like a tidal wave*, and understanding truth and natural law allows you ride that wave - this is the essence of the reason of Jesus' teachings.
Faith in truth and natural law is authentic faith in "God"/Universe. All else is authentic "Sin".
(*) Picture this; A tidal wave... The chaos, the "big bang" and the constant expansion of the universe. That's God, and Jesus' gnostic lessons teach how to ride that tidal wave. And faith in God is faith that the tidal wave, when riden correctly, will bring bring you to balance and natural order. When humans try to manipulate this than things turn negative. They take the grace of "God" from the equation and things go bad... And then that bad grows exponentially. This creates a faulty foundation that they base life on, and that foundation is constantly worked against by "God" which means humans have to constantly patch it up and start war and slave culture to maintain its false foundation. It's like the myth of hell where the guy in the water is trying to grab the grapes but every time he gets close he starts to drown.
