wait til you get off em, realize your mental health is directly tied to your drinking + drug use and that it’s a lot easier to maintain stability and things like a happy and healthy relationship and social life when you quit drinking every day or doing hard drugs + not sleeping enough :) trust me when I tell you I know

I don’t mean to trivialize, I know it’s not as easy as “just stop”, but I do know it’s possible, I know it’s possible even for those who don’t feel like it is, because I felt that it was impossible. Drinking is a whole other beast though, to be fair, I’ve never dealt with a drinking addiction. Been watching people die in their 50s from it, however.

Also talking specifically about abusing narcotics, I don’t mean like medicine your doctor has prescribed either unless it’s an addictive narcotic you don’t need to take anymore
