So now we're burning oil and emitting CO₂ in order to grow crops that get converted to ethanol which produces CO₂ in the process which is captured, compressed and transported at the cost of some more CO₂ and then used for fracking to produce more oil which is burned to produce more CO₂. And still those environmental groups aren't satisfied.
