Librarian. Speaking from personal experience, you need a librarian.

[-] Broadfern@lemmy.world 19 points 2 weeks ago

Somehow they’re real and we lightly terrorize the world together 😄

Audhd + cptsd = I need and want to be left alone by everybody now, please.

[-] MeowerMisfit817@lemmy.world 13 points 2 weeks ago

Auadhd + depression = leave me alone- but i want someo- no, we want alone- we want love- ALONE!

Silverchair had a song that had one lyric that always stuck out to me:

I don't want to be lonely; I just wanna be alone.

I feel this. For me, this feels included in the "safe" part of the OP, because I have found that one of the best salves for this feeling is someone who I can be with as we each do our own thing. It feels less stressful because there isn't as much of the whiplash between the binary of wanting my own space but then feeling lonely

[-] aloofPenguin@piefed.world 1 points 2 weeks ago

that sounds like me sometimes. Also somewhat the above comment sometimes too. my friend told me that I might (i think he was more certain) that I have cptsd, and I know I have depression.

[-] OryxAndCake@slrpnk.net 1 points 2 weeks ago

That kinda sounds like bpd, ngl.

[-] MeowerMisfit817@lemmy.world 5 points 2 weeks ago

Had a psych eval and the results came just this month and I don't have BPD.

Really now, ADHD makes you joyous, and depression makes you sad. Depression+ADHD is sure to sound like BPD.

I did an on the job learning at the same restaurant they worked at. It sounds a bit worrying but I was +20 at the time lol, we still joke about it a bit. I highly recommend meeting people IRL, schools jobs hobbies volunteering etc, rather than the BS "dating" apps. I have only found predators on those, harder to spot when it's written and so on.

Does AuDHD stand for "autistic deficit hyperactivity disorder"?

[-] emergencyfood@sh.itjust.works 9 points 2 weeks ago

It's gold-tier ADHD.

[-] ExtraPartsLeft@piefed.zip 7 points 2 weeks ago

It stands for autistic with ADHD. I guess AuADHD doesn't roll off the tongue quite as well.

[-] justaman123@lemmy.world 3 points 2 weeks ago

I pronounce it like odd-DHD. I'm odd

[-] MeowerMisfit817@lemmy.world 6 points 2 weeks ago

Autistic deficit

Having hardships at being autistic sucks

[-] SilentKnightOwl@slrpnk.net 5 points 2 weeks ago

You need all those things, but not necessarily in the same person

[-] MeowerMisfit817@lemmy.world 6 points 2 weeks ago

Polyamorous relationships are the solution!

[-] joulethief@discuss.tchncs.de 3 points 2 weeks ago

No, seriously! I think for many they indeed are

[-] Art3mis 3 points 2 weeks ago

It really blows my mind how many couple cheat simply because they wrent getting something they needed from their partner. No one can do everything for you and thats okay. Monogamy isnt for everyone, despite what traditionalists will say. Just communicate.. cheating is just polyamory with extra steps

[-] Swaus01@piefed.social 2 points 2 weeks ago

Not heard of this concept before. Is it talking about romantic partner or just friends?
