Hi guys! Most of my pages today are not working, as I'm stuck on a cloudflare loop. This seems to happen in Firefox and waterfox, so far. I've tested the 'troubleshooting mode', which opens with all defaults and no extensions, but still the same issues. Ungoogled chromium seems to work, but that's not a browser I'd like to use. What can i test?

I guess it was a CloudFlare issue because it’s just started to work again.

Yeah it wasn't Lemmy, I had exactly the same problem while doing searches on Factorio wiki.

Solved now.

Still stuck in endless loop for me :(

It fixed itself for me. I’ve just tried it on another website and it works fine.

This was happening to me last night! Firefox on Debian LXDE.

Thought I was going crazy, really messed with my workflow.

I just checked this morning, about 9 hours later, and it's working again.

Stupid AI scrapers ruining it for everyone. Bot detection never used to be so... Twitchy.

Also I hate that cloudflare is the backbone for so many services. When will people learn?

Same here. It doesn’t work on Zen either.

Use a User Agent extension, set to chrome on windows, and done

bad advice. they can know by fingerprint it's not actually chrome on windows. this just makes the fingerprint more unique/suspicious and increases the chance of getting blocked by clownflare

If you enable resist fingerprinting, does that not do anything in this case?

It's almost impossible.

For example Math.tanh(0.8) will have a different rounding depending on your OS.

you'll get a very unique fingerprint of a firefox-ish browser, it wouldn't look like chromium

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.
