jokes aside, and respectfully sharing thoughts…

the GNOME workflow favours opening multiple windows and arranging them in workspaces, right?

I feel like the old behaviours of spawning them in Cascade makes it’s easier to drag their title bars with the cursor and distributes them around the screen instead of just stacking all of them in the center part one of top of each other regardless of their windows sizes, covering a lot of them by the others

fortunately it’s easy to toggle that, of course keyboard driven navigations makes it less of an issue, and a lot of people open just one window at a time, I know

however I still wonder why they made it the default in recent versions ‘cause it seemed like an intentional choice leaving that disabled
