So this Friday will mark the very last FFF? :(

[-] slazer2au@lemmy.world 14 points 1 month ago

I hope not, but there is a fair chance.

[-] Korhaka@sopuli.xyz 12 points 1 month ago

Isn't the release experimental? Might get more FFF until it's stable.

[-] slazer2au@lemmy.world 6 points 1 month ago

I have run experimental since playing with a streamer years ago and haven't run into any issues.
Kinda sad I missed the train fiasco from one of the 0.x releases.

They will probably do another when they announce their next project.

Wasn't it just released to experimental, with the expectation of staying there for the summer? This sounds like it's done and released, but it isn't...

Now that we can move stuff between space platforms we need barrels for rocket fuel transporting.

[-] slazer2au@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago

Na, if you don't have enough oxerdiser or the other one barreling it over won't help.

[-] Korhaka@sopuli.xyz 4 points 1 month ago

You can't put them in barrels, which is what I feel should be changed. That way you could send fuel to your ships from another platform.

Nests farting gass if you block them is going to break a lot of intermediate builds.

Also a price increase of 4€.

Well deserved. Great game

I know it doesn't impact in the game, but I just found I couldn't enjoy it anymore once I learned that the lead developer is a shitty person.

Also, what the fuck is with all those Polanski movies after he plead guilty to raping a child. It's not like a Weinstein situation where people could pretend they didn't know. It really makes all the rage and shock over recent sexual misconduct revelations seem pretty fucking performative.

You mustn’t enjoy much if you can't separate a creator from their creation considering what the rest of the game industry does to workers and the film industry does in general to upcoming talent.

Not sure what the second paragraph has to do with Factorio though.

You make assumptions. I separate the work from the artist. But I don't pay shitbags my increasingly rare spare cash and I don't promote them. That would ruin my enjoyment. Perhaps you have such wealth, you don't have to make hard choices about what to spend it on. Perhaps you don't care about living in a world where shitbags prosper and being decent is a liability.

kovatex has argued in favour of child rape

the lead developer is a shitty person.

This is the first I'm hearing about this. How'd you find this out?

[-] cactusupyourbutt@lemmy.world 9 points 1 month ago

from what I remember its mostly about kovarex recommending a technical article from a shitty person
