Why is the FBI director selling apparel?

[-] NotASharkInAManSuit@lemmy.world 4 points 2 days ago

I believe the proper term is Kakistocracy.

Too lazy to check, but I'm almost sure Patel's website runs WordPress with a vulnerable plugin that allows anyone to set up ClickFix among other things.

The FBI director's Based Apparel site has been spotted hosting a 'ClickFix' attack, which involves duping users into running a seemingly benign, but malicious command.

honestly what you deserve if you are buying apparel from Kash Patel. 🤷‍♂️

[-] imhungry@leminal.space 7 points 2 days ago

This mentality is understandable, but it only benefits Kash Patel and people like him. As a society, we need to hold people accountable even if they only hurt our enemies. The existence of a bad actor means that anyone or anything else could become a target, too.

What in the liberal coolaid are you drinking?
