I just did one battle last season to get my ~80 hourglasses, but I'm going to try and climb a couple of ranks this time. I'll see how sick of it I get.
Hmm my experience is quite different.
I'm planning to share it once I reach masterball, but here's quick teaser.
Out of 21 games, I encountered:
All 3 Mega Lucario decks are of different variants too:
I didn't even encounter the supposedly most-successful variant, Lucario-Hitmontop.
I'm genuinely glad other people are having a better time.
I don't mean to be a downer or spoil anyone else's fun, but I don't really like the megas as I find they aren't fun to play or play against, as it's just rush to highest DPT card and dominate, so whoever gets the most powerful card out first wins. (to anyone who can't help themselves, yes I know that's how the game works i don't need it pointed out).
Literally luck of the draw, sort of takes the fun out of and spoils any of the strategy side of things for me.
