With that said, it's quite likely then we will see this support upstreamed to the mainline Linux kernel with the upcoming Linux 7.2 cycle.

Wonder if Fedora 46 will aim for 7.2

Fedora 44 was just released, so 45 is in ~6 Months. If the kernel releases every 10 weeks, like it says on kernel.org, the kernel should be on >=7.3 by that point. Fedora isn't that far behind usually
