My son is 4, nearly 5. He loves My Little Pony, Unicorn Academy and Miraculous. He recently spent his money on a flapping singing mlp toy at a charity shop.
Seeing him dive into these things makes me uncomfortable, but I'm aware that that discomfort comes from being brought up in an environment where I would be punished if people discovered that I liked those things as a boy. I'm uncomfortable, but he's happy, and that's fine.
