But couldn’t find anything I wanted to play.

So I went outside and pulled weeds in the garden.

Every time I have spare time to play computer games I just cant be arsed loading up a Baldurs Gate or Warhammer or whatever that involves an 18 hour time commitment to embrace the story etc.... so I just end up playing a few rounds of TF2, or a level of a Vampire Survivors type game. And then the PC gets turned off again.

How the heck did I used to find time to play 6 hours at a time? I want that life back.

Less dull: I dug up 4 potatoes from a random hanging basket. I never planted potatoes in there so that was a fun surprise.

Mm. Still dull.

Boy, this post made me feel spoiled. I guess over the years I’ve structured my life in such a way that I always have more than enough time to sit down and enjoy a game. Doesn’t hurt that my job is only four days a week, pays me enough to get by, and lets me go home early if I get all my assigned work done. They still pay me for the full day, too. I lucked out, for sure.

Does such a way mean living alone?

2. Original, Fresh, Meaningful Content.

3. Avoid repetitive topics.

4. This isn't an advice forum

Use a search engine, a tradesperson, Reddit, friends, a specialist Facebook group, apps, Wikipedia, an AI chat, a reverse image search etc. to answer simple questions or identify objects. Also see rule 1, “comment baiting”.

There are a number of content specific communities with subject matter experts who can help you.

Some other communities to consider before posting:
