Some time ago I bought a LilyGo module tuned at 433 MHz, but with the built in antenna I couldn't reach anyone. Is this to be expected? Can I put the module to some use?

Check what channel your local area uses

Thanks! Pretty much everyone uses EU_868 LongFast

433 is not really popular here for the mesh networks. It's mostly dominated by weather stations, tire pressure sensors and gate remotes.

I know I'm late to the party, but did you ever find an answer for this question?

No, you’re not! I’ve bought a second 433 node to find out if the problem was my node. Also, 433 MHz might work at higher frequencies

Update: I bought another 433 MHz node and they work! Damn, this tech is so cool!
