Aren't these the same insiders that demanded him back when their board of directors fired him?

[-] Goodlucksil@lemmy.dbzer0.com 10 points 2 weeks ago

I don't think so, maybe this is a Goomba effect.

[-] a_gee_dizzle@lemmy.ca 4 points 2 weeks ago

What’s the Goomba effect?

[-] Goodlucksil@lemmy.dbzer0.com 6 points 2 weeks ago

I misremembered, it's called the Goomba fallacy.

Most employees do not trust leadership that markets and sells a product that does not exist yet.

one of PETER thiels puppets too, Thiel did similar pratices apparently, thats why gawker tried to report on his pratices before they were sued to the ground.

Psychopath and 'dark triad' personalities always end up in leadership positions. They are all smiling nasties. Its amazing that our western culture not only breeds, and accepts, but even hails these feudal kings manipulating, harming and skimming the surplus from anyone else..

Its time to call on the French peasantry again ! Chop chop, mon ami..

[-] greenbit@lemmy.zip 5 points 2 weeks ago

tbh it's a global problem and not just for those westerners to figure out

[-] Curious_Canid@piefed.ca 4 points 2 weeks ago

The rules we have created to govern corporations cause that, in a very direct way. If those positions were officially responsible for the welfare of their employees and customers, and not just their shareholders, the role would not favor sociopaths. We need to change the rules. Otherwise, getting rid of the current crop of awful people will just replace them with others like them.

I actually have to disagree here.

The problem is the worthless product.

[-] deliriousdreams@fedia.io 6 points 2 weeks ago

Why not both? Por que no los dos?

[-] melsaskca@lemmy.ca 19 points 2 weeks ago

No CEO of any corp should be trusted. They are about money extraction all the way down. Nothing more. Plus, none of them earn their bonuses. Who the fuck earns that much money as a "bonus"?

[-] Clent@lemmy.dbzer0.com 17 points 2 weeks ago

Everything I've read on this guy screams, cluster b personality disorder.

[-] Solrac@lemmy.world 12 points 2 weeks ago

The Problem is Peter Thiel's mentee, who could've guessed.

[-] brownsugga@lemmy.world 12 points 2 weeks ago

[-] DFX4509B@lemmy.wtf 4 points 2 weeks ago

Madoff Altman..

[-] SaveTheTuaHawk@lemmy.ca 4 points 2 weeks ago

U of Toronto's Geoff Hinton has stated that he is proud that his former student, Ilya Sutskever, was instrumental in the firing of Sam Altman from OpenAI in November 2023.

Everyone knows Altman is a cunt.
