Some senior military commanders seem to have followed his lead, with the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, a watchdog organization, saying it has received more than 200 complaints from service members that their superiors had told troops it was all part of God’s plan that they be deployed to Iran.
If there is a God, Hegseth, and a lot of these goulish jokers, are going to be real fucking surprised to learn who those "wicked souls" actually belonged to in the end.

You cannot convince me that your findings in anything are unbiased when you believe in something with no evidence.
As a person of faith, you would not abandon your faith if presented with evidence that says your god doesn't exist, you would abandon science and simply ignore it, or worse hide/sabotage it.
Scientists who are Christians or Christian Scientists? Very different things.
