I use Mullvad with a wireguard setup on my Deck
Sweet - any impact on performance?
Did you have to sideload anything, or create a su pwd ?
No, from desktop mode, I just had to set up a wireguard connection with the public and private keys.
It was pretty easy to find a guide on how to get it set up.
Does nordvpn provide the option to just use wireguard or openvpn? Because that is almost always your best bet on linux, regardless.

Thank you - very promising info, appreciated
Maybe not what you want, but have you considered VPN'ing at your router? Doesn't help if you travel, so maybe worthless...
Thank you, good suggestion - I have considered this, and a pi hole
Securing end points for now....we'll see what comes next xdd
Whatever you end up using, this might come in handy:
Thank you - have been using desktop and console successfully
a gaming mode native vpn would be cool
hoping Nord will drop a flatpak script - stays current and doesnt get wiped by steam updates
Network connections don't get wiped. If you add a wireguard profile it will be persistent and you'll be able to toggle it from the desktop and (with the help of the decky loader plugin) in game mode too.
