Limit testing the highest pressure situations on the highest earning individuals.

[-] explodicle@sh.itjust.works 26 points 2 months ago

They allegedly perform well under pressure.

[-] FrowingFostek@lemmy.world 10 points 2 months ago

Let's find out! 🪨

When you put “can work under high pressure” on your resume

[-] RememberTheApollo_@lemmy.world 47 points 2 months ago

12k likes for an inane corporate ad post? Gotta be mostly bots.

[-] taiyang@lemmy.world 14 points 2 months ago

Not just likes but also... whatever threads calls a retweet. What human being freely echoes an advertisement? Lol

[-] KairuByte@lemmy.dbzer0.com 7 points 2 months ago

You don’t think there are 183 people out there that would repeat a brands advertisement? O.o

Honestly I’d think it would be higher.

[-] BarbecueCowboy@lemmy.dbzer0.com 9 points 2 months ago

It is incredibly easy to buy likes / posts / etc, if it was entirely bots, that's only like $50.

Kinda worrying that you can push basically whatever narrative you want very cheaply on any social media.

[-] explodicle@sh.itjust.works 8 points 2 months ago

Sometimes if I really like a reply, I'll like/upvote/whatever its parents so the reply gets more visibility.

It's provocative, it gets the people going!

[-] ayyy@sh.itjust.works 37 points 2 months ago

This is an ad. The “bRaNd GeTs sLamMeD” is just the shittiest viral marketing technique from the 2010s. Do better, lemmy.

[-] PlaidBaron@lemmy.world 8 points 2 months ago

Oh no! Low quality posts in a shitposting community? Not on my watch!

[-] yermaw@sh.itjust.works 8 points 2 months ago

[-] CosmoNova@lemmy.world 37 points 2 months ago

Yeah but you still bought the blue checkmark, though.

[-] usernameusername@sh.itjust.works 15 points 2 months ago

That's threads not twitter

[-] CosmoNova@lemmy.world 8 points 2 months ago

Paying $14.99/month to Zucciberg corp isn‘t that much different than paying it to Edolph.

[-] usernameusername@sh.itjust.works 7 points 2 months ago

Oh I wasn't aware you also have to pay for it on Threads. Dunno what I was expecting from the Zucc

[-] zod000@lemmy.dbzer0.com 5 points 2 months ago

The American measurement system is so gloriously random it puts Calvinball to shame.

[-] mkwt@lemmy.world 4 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

120 giga-grand-pianos-per-football-field.

[-] huquad@lemmy.ml 5 points 2 months ago

Can I get that in number of elephants standing on my chest?

[-] daggermoon@piefed.world 16 points 2 months ago

Put them in a submarine under an ocean of blood.

[-] onceandfuturealice@lemmy.world 8 points 2 months ago

Wasn't expecting an Iron Lung reference in this thread 🫁

[-] MousePotatoDoesStuff@lemmy.world 6 points 2 months ago

🎶 SpongeBob SquarePants 🎶

[-] neatchee@piefed.social 12 points 2 months ago

Your shitpostid is in the format of a North American phone number, with an area code in Quebec.

Nothing implied by that, just couldn't help but notice.

[-] Viking_Hippie@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 2 months ago

Vive la resistance!

[-] maxxadrenaline@lemmy.world 8 points 2 months ago

Is it post traumatic biopsi?

[-] Jessica@discuss.tchncs.de 6 points 2 months ago

Technically they dropped the E in Pepsi

[-] darkdemize@sh.itjust.works 52 points 2 months ago

It's at the end of "more."

[-] Jessica@discuss.tchncs.de 11 points 2 months ago

Oh you're absolutely right! 10 out of 10 post

[-] krisevol@lemmus.org 2 points 2 months ago
