Which is more appropriate since those fuckers pretty much only talked about beer, barley, and sheep.

Beer and bread are pretty similar. Beer from that time is just watery dough you leave out for too long and let ferment.

In their defense they hadn't invented literature yet. Eventually Enheduanna had the idea to talk about the gods.

But it is fascinating to know that writing began as a means of accounting and logistics and then Eventually spread to ideas like stories.
