Yes, that corrupt piece of shit ifantino and his organization should just fuck off.
After looking at an article that can actually be read, I'm more surprised than I expected to be. I assumed this price point was for a season pass type thing that included with your parking space a free shuttle given the distance. Turns out, nope. Price per game and bring your walking shoes.
I'm glad I never got into sports much.
Soccer is a weird game anyway. The reason the players fake fall and dramatically hold mystery body parts? Because they get added on time at the end of the game that's decided by the refs. It's completely ripe for bribery and abuse.

Where is the closest bus stop?
If they're actually selling parking spaces at $300 that's a steal. But more likely it's only a rental just for one game.
Does FIFA own these spaces?
Didn't read the article, but fifa perfectly can (due capitalism) rent those areas.
A massive failure in US city planning is that stadiums don't have bus and rail access.
Every major stadium should have a light rail station which exits right into the ticket booth. There's literally no reason why these things can't have huge public transport during major events. Anyone that's tried to leave one of these events knows just what a PITA it is.
Where I live a local professional sports team is trying to build a new stadium because the current one is "difficult" to park at. This is based on feedback from fans and traffic studies during game days. So they want taxpayers to pay billions to build a new stadium with more parking garages. Instead of adding more buses and bus stops or light rail or any form of public transit to alleviate the problem at the current stadium, which is barely thirty years old.
