Tried Connect since I used it for Lemmy, but no luck, keeps giving me "The page your browser tried to load could not be found" error when I try to log in.

Has anyone had success with other apps?

Here's a list of apps that work with PieFed. I'm mainly using Voyager, but sometimes Blorp, Summit and Interstellar.

Blorp dev here. let me know if there is anything I can do that would make Blorp you’re favorite client out of the bunch.

P.S. sorry if I asked you that already. I kinda chaotically reply to comments mentioning Blorp

Hi, thanks for all your work. Blorp is my second favorite client right now, it's really good already. I keep coming back to Voyager mostly because I'm so used to it.

Some things that could be improved in Blorp on Android:

  • Option to adjust the font size of body text (it's a little bit too small for me right now)
  • Highlight color with more contrast (Purple on black is a little hard to read)
  • Swipe gestures (my standard setting in other clients is swipe right to upvote, swipe left to save)
  • More PieFed features like merged crosspost comments would be nice

Jump button for comments that jumps instantly (like Red Reader)

Ability to turn NSFW masking off for feed, or at least not make it two taps to open the full image AND demask it.

Redgifs internal feed integration

Have recent subs be account-specific instead of shared. i don't want to see a NSFW sub on my main.

Cross posting + cross post comment combination.

Maybe some more themes and customization like ability to create custom sub combos from the app (or whatever it's called on the fediverse, on reddit it is a multireddit)

Please and thank you. A+ app name BTW. Love that it is on F-Droid.

I'm missing the bell feature to be notified of new posts or messages. Is there a plan to add it?

[-] moseschrute@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago

I’ll see if I can get that added. Track progress

I've been using Summit with both Lemmy and Piefed and haven't noticed any issues so far.

Thunder seems to be the best for me by quite a bit.

[-] squirrel@piefed.kobel.fyi 3 points 2 days ago

Uhh another one to try. I didn't know about Thunder's PieFed capabilities yet.

It’s Blorp’s users that make it great! Let me know if there are any improvements I can make to the app for ya.

If devs are reading this, please put it in the app description if you support Piefed. I thought there were only 2 apps available for Piefed until this very moment.

@snoopy@piefed.social tries to keep this wiki page updated. I sometimes see app devs reach out to snoopy when they support new features as well, so it is reasonably current.

Thank :)

For now the lastest updated app is interstellar and mlem. There is the check date. I will try this week-end to use every app and test them. But i'm busy :)

[-] BladeFederation@piefed.social 3 points 2 days ago

Thanks that is useful

[-] recursive_recursion@piefed.ca 4 points 2 days ago

I've had no issues with Voyager👍

[-] pricklypearbear@lemmy.world 3 points 2 days ago

Interstellar is a decent one for PieFed. Supports a good amount of the PieFed features. I mostly use the cross-post comment merge.

Thank you for mentioning!
