The BSDs as yuri (wordsmith.social)

I haven't used the BSDs in a while so if you're a regular user I'd like to know whether you find this shitpost amusing or if I'm totally off with my stereotypes here.

Having virtually no experience with BSDs, I'm just going to accept this uncritically and use it as a mental framework to contextualize everything I will learn about BSDs in the future.

Date everything is infecting everything I know and love

not trying to defend my nonsense but OS-tans predate Date Everything by decades. meme went viral ca. 2004 and was popular enough to break into the West. the concept is so old that the suffix -tan was still popular

(Unrelated but I was intrigued by the concept of Date Everything but was immediately turned off by how everything is anthro, like if you're making a game about dating the air or the table or the kitchen cabinet then I don't want to date some standardly muscular dude representing the cabinet, let me fuck the kitchen cabinet you cowards)

I've been watching a streamer play it. I thought it would be kinda cringe and it is, but there are some fun jokes here and there. But I get what you're saying, I think.

ah I guess I love my brain and date everything has infected it, erasing any other knowledge of anthropomorphisation

post bits of your writing and links to stuff you’ve written here for constructive criticism.

if you post anything here try to specify what kind of feedback you would like. For example, are you looking for a critique of your assertions, creative feedback, or an unbiased editorial review?

if OP specifies what kind of feedback they'd like, please respect it. If they don't specify, don't take it as an invite to debate the semantics of what they are writing about. Honest feedback isn’t required to be nice, but don’t be an asshole.
