Americans are saying the same thing about the U.S.
Yep. At this point, I don't even call myself American anymore. So when people ask me what my nationality is, I mention I'm from my home state instead of saying I'm an American.
This is the chaos and discord Putin loves to see.

Well yeah, anything that weakens NATO is red meat for him. So to speak.
It's regrettable to give Putin any comfort, but I don't think Canadians are wrong here. The US is firmly in its 'flailing and desperately externalising' phase of imperial decline, and I think a GB-style "soft landing" of the American empire is too much to hope for.
"It would be so much easier for Canada if they just agreed to join the US."
Most threatening line from all Trump's attacks for me. It might seem harmless but it reads: "it would be so much easier for you (for the US) if you just stop struggling."
I don't say this lightly about a person, but I truly believe rape is at the very core of his being.
That's exactly it
It's because deep down he knows he's a weak, pathetic, insignificant man and needs to hurt the most vulnerable to feel powerful.
I don't even think he's actually sexually attracted to children. I think he gets off on causing lifelong suffering, and the more vulnerable the person he's breaking is, the better it feels. Children are the most vulnerable and he can do the most damage to them.
Make America Rape Again
Oh look Putin can fiction.
"Canadians say U.S. ... is bigger threat [to us] than Russia"
World's longest undefended border may have something to do with that.
Note: ask any country in Latin America, the Caribbean, Southeast Asia, Africa, or the Arabian/Persian Gulf who is a bigger threat, you'll get the same answer. Some might say China is forgotten from the list.
Canadians are breaking through the propaganda, finally. Contra-American sentiment or a political anti-American stance has probably not been this rooted since 1812.
Russia threatens European power. U.S. threatens the Western Hemisphere and
... and what?! Did they get to you?!
I'm sure that for Taiwan and South Korea, China is the biggest threat. For Poland, the biggest threat is Russia. It's obvious why the US is the biggest threat for Canada.
Even if the border weren't open and undefended, the two countries' economies have been getting more and more integrated for decades. Canada's economy depends on a stable and sane USA. For a long time that was a safe bet, but now the US is attacking Canada. And, even if it weren't for the tariffs and other attacks, the absolute chaos that Trump is doing to the American economy would reverberate into Canada's economy.
Russia threatens European power. U.S. threatens the Western Hemisphere and
It was nice of the CIA agent to hit "submit" after offing you.
They did get me. I got away. But, it was my own kids.
CIA. Recruiting my own kids against me.
Always has been.
As I've mentioned previously, both Canada and Mexico have one huge problem between them.
A cock-meat sandwich. Extra cock.
Hmmm I wonder why....

This is gonna end in a very sad, and devastating way for us (US). Unfortunately, I'm too fucking poor and ill to get the hell off this god-damned Continent.
Our hegemony was going to end one way or the other, sooner or later. I just didn’t think it would be done by some fucking dipshit dousing everything with kerosene and blowing everything up with a tactical nuke while pooping himself.
But hey, those libs sure got owned.
To my own ignorance (and selfishness), I never imagined it would happen within my lifetime. The nukes well, I grew up during the Cold War days, so nukes were always a nightmarish possibility. I mean fuck... we wrote books, and made movies about it!
We sure stuck it to the DNC for running a mediocre candidate, didn't we.
🌎🧑🚀🔫🧑🚀
With this administration they’re at least screwing their own citizens as well, besides the rest of the world that is.
Incorrect.
They are 'screwing' kiddies and shooting their own citizens.
Democrats: Hard Neoliberalism at home, Fascism abroad.
Republicans: Fascism everywhere.
"Fascism is the tools of empire used against the homeland"
What is the difference between Russia and the US?
Just this week, Kirill Dmitriev, Putin's "economic envoy" who also serves as CEO of Russia’s Direct Investment Fund, pitches joint US-Russia projects of 14 trillion USD, contingent on a peace agreement in Ukraine and the lifting of Western sanctions.
Also this week we heard that Gentry Beach, a US investor with close ties to the Trump family, signed an agreement with Russia’s energy giant Novatek already last autumn to develop natural gas in Alaska amid Western sanctions against Russia.
Trump's negotiators for peace in Ukraine are Steven Witkoff and Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner, two real estate developers and investor. What do they negotiate?
If such polls are useful at all then only to distract from reality. That helps autocratic regimes as they make autocratic regimes like Russia and China look as the lesser evil. It's not true, though.
[Edit typo.]
usa does things at the behest of russia and israel.
In case you haven't notice the kinds of shit the Techbros are loudly pushing, the US most definitelly does things at the behest of its own fatcats first and foremost.
Granted, their interestest seem to be aligned in the most with mainly Israel and also partly Russia.
Im sorry but thats a dumb take. We are in this mess partly due to russian election meddling.
Canada needs nuclear weapons, now!
Said no one, not a single Canuck.
Yeah that stupid country can suck a truck stop dick and then fuck itself right off.
GO AWAY.
Yup
Oh, has complying with the genocidal empire backfired? How could this be? Surely, making decisions that affect tens of millions of people oriented toward the capitalist imperatives of infinite growth and profit could never hurt those people?
Gonna go ahead guess this is an online poll for the terminally online and not an actual indicator of the real world.
Nah, as a Canadian I genuinely feel like the US is a larger global threat than Russia. The US has a larger economy, a better military, and a less functional authoritarian government. Say what you will about Putin and his authoritarianism... At least he knows what the fuck he's doing. Trump and his entire administration are fucking unhinged morons. Not to mention if Russia decided to invade us we'd have dozens of countries coming to our defence.
I can't say the same if the USA did. I would hope Article 5 would enact and the US could never win a war on 4 fronts. But I'm not confident.
Putin’s goals are irrelevant because the entire Russian state is paralyzed by vranyo. From the generals faking reports to the shills faking 'victories' online, you’ve lied to yourselves so much that you’ve accidentally built a military that only works on paper. It’s not a war machine; it’s a theater troupe that’s currently being exposed as incompetent on a global stage.
--gonna be using AI to respond to russian shills from hereon
All of their points were very true and have absolutely been considered by all Canadians lately. Some feel more strongly than others, but a lot have expressed their hatred towards the US.
Russia never made targeted threats at our sovereignty. The US has been doing nothing but that for over a year now.
If you want to use an LLM and waste a bunch of energy to respond to someone making a valid point, go for it, just kind of ends up being another reminder of how ignorant Americans can be to anything they don't have the capacity to understand.
The US will get there in time. For now, Trump is still busy squandering the momentum that the US accumulated from a century of more able administrators. It was a already a deeply flawed democracy in 2016, but it had good institutions, experts and money money money. Trump is attacking all three - and there is no organized resistance yet.
Gonna say you don't have a finger in the pulse and can't read the room.
Comment history of antagonism. I wouldn’t expect thoughtful replies.
I’m a bit fucking concerned about the fascist take over happening beside that not a single person down there seems interested in doing anything about.
