Neat. So we have a system to prove they violate the law, and yet, no system to punish them for it.

I'm writing a sternly worded letter as we speak.

We have a system that's slow and requires a lot of people to both really care and put in effort. Unfortunately most people are neither patient or want to put any effort into improving the lives of others. If they did, we would not even be in this situation.

There is no system anymore. It might have been slow and broken in the past, but now it is non-existant.

What is your evidence or reasoning for that? Sounds like pure doomerism. There have always been ups and downs, and hopefully the upside of this down is that enough people start to see and care again. Let's see how the midterms go and then we can discuss if the system no longer exists.

What I love is the DOJ is doing the heavy lifting, like if they just released all the files, un redacted, people would be so swamped it would be a while before anyone found anything, but the fact they delete shit is glaring where we should look haha

Created an alt just to post this. I'm terrified of saying this. I don't even know where to say this besides here. I know one of the people behind epsteinexposed (rodrigopolo). He's the last person that should be working on anything Epstein. Please don't get me wrong. Maybe epsteinexposed is a clean project and this man is infiltrating them. I don't have the capacity to analyze the project in its entirety. I do know that Rodrigo Polo is not to be trusted with calculating epsteinexposed's hashes. He's 100% MAGA and designs conspiracy theories. Want evidence? Check his content online. He has built a following spreading conspiracy theories about anyone who threatens the 1%. If you believe in epsteinexposed, care to contact their admin regarding this? I tried doing it myself but there's no way of contacting them anonymously.

Want evidence? Check his content online.

The lack of any links here does not help your case. I don't know this guy and I'm not on social media. Where exactly would I look to "check his content online"?

If what you say is true, then you've obviously done this yourself, so it should be as easy as checking your browser history to find supporting links.

Maybe epsteinexposed is a clean project and this man is infiltrating them.

This probably goes without saying, but the files themselves are a conspiracy theorist's wildest dreams come true, so what you call "infiltrating" could just as easily be called "man finds his tribe," lol.

Rodrigo Polo is not to be trusted with calculating epsteinexposed’s hashes.

Generally speaking, math doesn't lie. If he posts his hash conclusions and how he arrived at them, others will be able to replicate that, even help him do it.

If you believe in epsteinexposed, care to contact their admin regarding this?

I neither believe nor disbelieve. I'm waiting to see some independently corroboratable evidence that I can look at myself.

So link your evidence. Something, anything. Otherwise it's just a call to brigade.

EDITED TO ADD that there is no "Rodrigo Polo" in the EpsteinExposed investigator list,.

Also, at the very bottom of every page on the site, this project has multiple links for contact via Facebook, X/Twitter, and a discussion forum, all of which are places where you could ask them to reach out privately to you.

In addition, the project About page has a private contact form at the bottom. You could reach out there as well and get a reply via email, assuming they find you credible.

Wtf is even happening? Is that guy a hallucinating LLM? I wouldn't be surprised if there was an astroturfing thing going on to vague post and try to discredit Epstein investigators across the internet. That's the type of shit 4chan used to do, which we now know was backed by Epstein himself lol

[-] ChunkMcHorkle@lemmy.world 5 points 2 days ago

That's what hit me as well: an effort to discredit or even brigade based on nothing but emotive language and feigned helplessness that all boil down to "trust me bro."

But this is the singularly wrong community to come at with "just take my word for it," lol.

The other thing that got my attention was that this six hour old (at the time) account's one post in this community was 1) upvoted ten times in a relatively brief period for what is nothing more than a trust me bro plea to empathy, and 2) it was from lemmy.org, where other vote manipulation activities have recently found a home.

Spreading suspicion and offering no links to said "online conten" t is sus AF, bro.

We keep track of the release of the files, but also to explore what’s already available, and why – with enough exposure – this could bring the man down, and who knows even his regime or the empire.
