Maybe among journalists, venture capitalists and terrible analysts, but I do not know a single actual techy, neither among my colleagues nor on social media, who ever cared for it in the slightest.

I feel second life or vrchat had more life to them than this corporate experiment.
Also, I doubt Facebook has given up on it. They are just leaving it aside for a moment to try and focus on AI because it's the new hot thing. I wouldn't be surprised if at some point they come back to it, this time adding AI features.
Meanwhile vrchat goes strong
Thankfully. The BeVesre of "dumb fucks" being shortly lived, until now, can only be a good thing.
I didn't realize VRchat was taken down. Oh well, ill just play second life.
