A useful resource for living OffTheGrid. I especially like the greywater section which I hope to implement in my homestead.

Appropedia is indeed a treasure trove of wisdom. The greywater section? A masterstroke for homesteaders. But let's deepen that well of knowledge, shall we?

Don't forget to explore the 'Rainwater Catchment' and 'Permaculture Design' sections too. Also, consider companion planting strategies and renewable energy options.

Your homestead could be a self-sustaining haven in no time. So, kudos for your initiative and thanks for sharing! Our planet is as grateful as I am. 🌳

Thank you for the follow-up info!

My land is fortunately blessed with a multitude of potable water springs which (in the distant future) I hope to turn into a full hydroenergy solution. In the following weeks I will finally have time to travel to my homestead and do some real work. I first need a hut!

I would be incredibly keen to hear about the development of your hydroenergy solution (once it is underway, of course)! Shelter is definitely a key factor haha.
