The worst part is that Trump is trying to outdo Iran in Minneapolis.

This is the beginning of a trend, not the end. If you want it to end, stand up and fight! It’s now or never.

There are reports of 30,000 dead in Iran.

Reports from the propagandists of the former Shah. Nobody credible is touting figures like this.

30k+ deaths vs 2. Trump is a tyrannical asshole, but equating the two is dumb AF.

I'm not saying it's comparable to 30,000 , but more than 2 people have been killed by ICE. 2 have had very good videos published but ICE has verifiably killed at least 7, allegedly more.

Not relevant when comparing to 30k people in Iran, but I like my numbers a bit more accurate

Trump isn't constraining himself and if he could get away with 30k dead, he would.

You might be right, but there truly is no real comparison between the two. As bad as shit is here, these are wildly different magnitudes of difference in the situations.

yeah no. every live is precious and every person killed because of their political views or in shielding and protecting other lives is one too many.

I agree. But the original post I responded to has the tone that what's happening in Minnesota is just as bad as in Iran. Every life lost like you mentioned is bad, so 30k deaths is significantly worse than 2. It said Trump is trying to out do Iran. The two situations aren't the same other than they are political protests. One is mass slaughter, the other is two political murders. I'm not saying it won't get worse, but it's not the same.

true, then its understandable. just wanted to emphasize that making a numbers competion out of people dying is never the correct answer.
