Wow. I listened to this album on repeat endlessly in the aughts. Never thought I'd be struggling to remember who made it, because this band used to be in my top five favorites

So, potato chips.

A standard bag nowadays is under 200g, like 198g and that's "normal"

Some are 235g, the last hold outs on the road to 200g or less.

I watched as the sizes shrank and shrank and shrank down to what they are today while prices stayed the same or went up.

Now, the old sized regular bags are called family bags, and im pretty sure they're actually less than the old standard bags at that.

It's got something to do with defending themselves when they're accused of pushing over-sized portions. "But it's for sharing".
