Does anyone else's dog get really anxious/restless when it's windy? My dog came out of surgery on Tuesday so she's already a bit out of it but I feel like the wind is making her even more on edge! I've given her some calming cookies so hopefully they kick in soon.
My Jerboa app finally updated! It seemed to take a while for the update to show in the store for some reason, but I am now in the "sort thread by new" club on my tablet. Happy days. Hopefully the phone app will sort itself out and stop crashing every time I try to open it as well.
Edit: it works! I am on my phone, app is open and it is no longer telling me that every instance does not actually exist.
So I said today would be a good day. I didn't make the stew again, because there were some great reduced food stuffs at the shop. The caff warmed my body heart and mind. Nothing like walking into a place where the staff know your name, show you love and then make a guilt free bacon and egg toastie. I went in my oodie cos it was cold. I'm really starting to enjoy the simple pleasure of playing with the cats. Friends are popping in a bit later on and I'm finally putting the last of my artwork up on the walls.

Time for a study break. I'm going to risk going out for a walk with Mr Woof, hopefully we don't get blown away. He has quite long hair, so he always gets a dramatic windswept look in this sort of weather.
I don't know if I'm completely missing something, but both on Mlem and the browser, I'm not getting reply notifications. (Scratch the browser, I had them automatically blocked. Have just unblocked, so we'll see.)
Second run with the slow cooker today. Was going to have steak tonight, but am opting for the slow cooked meal instead since a super late Yum Cha lunch was had. Finally got a proper desk chair and it feels so nice on my lumbar! Really not ready for work tomorrow, but gotta pay for my coffee and other habits somehow. On a side note, ate at Lillian last night. The food was nice, but boy, for a lot of staff... Not quite up to the level I was expecting.
Really don't want to face it as well, but Uni take 2... Here we go again.
Pretty sure mlem and memmy don't support notifications yet (In saying that, the speed of app development is insane and nearly there! Within a few weeks they have gone from basic scrolling apps to loads of new features). I get them using a browser and they popup while scrolling.
I don’t think Mlem has notifications for anything in it, at the very least there’s no settings in the app itself for them.
It's been one of those weekends where I realise I need a weekend and a half to get all my shit done. Hope y'all had a relaxing one.

Currently wide awake hyper fixating on drawing Lizzo so I can print something to wear to her concert. My hand is so sore right now, but I can't stop!!
Getting a bit late for anyone to see this before the new day's DT but still.. I did some booking of US hotels in USD today with my Latitude 28° travel credit card and I'd almost forgotten how good it was. I was checking the current exchange rate via google and my card was being charged within $1 of the exchange shown, meaning no fees on top and no dodgy high exchange rate being used. **HIGHLY **recommend that card for your spending needs, if you can be responsible with a credit limit.
Here to complain about dating apps or rather what people do on dating apps, most recently the "I don't chat on here, so add me on Instagram" and so I did and then I did all the heavy lifting with the chat and as soon as I left it alone, they didn't message. I've worked really hard to no longer expect instantaneous responses and I've accepted that people don't owe me their time, however, if you suggest we add each other on a social media app, a little bit of chat not started by me would be much appreciated.
The annual Qld holiday is going well so far. No arguments, no massive sudden mood swings from pre-teen-kidcalhoon. And the MIL's new place is pretty sweet
