Fun fact: there are few recorded instances of Shakespeare writing his own name and each time the spelling is different and never the way we spell it today. English before standardization is wyld
If I remember correctly he also lived before the Great Vowel Shift wrapped up. So his poetry used to rhyme, and who knows how many different ways his name has been pronounced over history, or if we're even right about how we say it now. Standardization is nice but we kinda locked in grammatical atrocities and are stuck with a mess now. Not sure if that's a hot take. 🤷♂️
I'm glad you got that. It was 100% intended. 👀
Love ol' Bill. The one with Claire Danes really made me think about books and stuff.
Romeo + Juliet? 😬
Damn, did he do that one, too? Nice. I was thinking of Brokedown Palace. I liked both.
I always thought it’s about shaking spears!
And its likely a euphamism for something else.
My, what could that possibly be?
Ah, a fellow System Of A Down fan.
Why'd you leave your keys upon the table? 🤔
Here you go, create another table!
The pronunciation is very fancy. Fitting!
