Question:

When scrolling through posts, then accidentally hitting back, it takes me to Communities.

From the list of Communities I'm subscribed to, how can I go back to scrolling where I left off? It seems as soon as I see communities, I have to click on one and can't resume scrolling from where I was. If I click on any community, it refreshes the community.

Thank you!

It isn't quite the same, but marking viewed posts as read and automatically hiding viewed posts seems to do the trick for me

I do this a lot. It is my "break doom scroll" spell. I'm a spontaneous caster and cast it at least once a day. Very handy!

(I legit like this behavior lol, but it is a good suggestion)

I do it by accident every 3 minutes.

Yeah, this one gets me too, occasionally. Maybe a resume button would be simple (if the state still exists) and work well without being too obtrusive.

Normally I'm browsing from Home, hit Back accidentally, and then try hitting Home again but that forces a refresh of Home (sometimes? Always? Can't remember).

This happens to me fairly often so I’ve been wondering as well. No way that I’m aware of

So its a feature, not a bug.

No, definitely not. It happens to me constantly, and is super frustrating. I’ve posted about it a couple times, and it seems to consistently bother a lot of people. I still haven’t found the time to search for a GitHub board or better way to put this in front of the devs, but it happens to me multiple times a day.

Glad I'm not the only one though. I do it all the time by accident. I switched to this app because my other app wasn't being updated any more and Voyager seemed popular.

Edit: even navigating "inbox" can be a little tricky sometimes.

Yeah, even with little issue like this, Voyager is still the best Lemmy app out there imo, but there are bugs/quirks like this that are super annoying.

Good to know! Thank you
