I’m a big fan of Zojirushi’s mugs. You’ll need a bottle brush to clean, but I think all their gaskets are removable and replaceable. I’ve never had a problem with leaks and they have a solid sliding lock.
You might want to clarify "decent amount".
These guys make a range of oversize mugs.

That holds 52 fluid ounces (or ~1.5 liters). I use a smaller version.
I'm also a big fan of the smaller bubba mug that I have (https://www.amazon.com/Bubba-Stainless-Steel-Travel-Handle/dp/B00XMH7MRW/). It's cheap, sturdy, and easy to clean.
Check out Kleen Kanteen. 100% recycled steel, some of the best thermal performance out there, and easy to clean (unlike my big Stanley with the flip top)
Stanley has always made a good thermos. They make travel mugs of various types as well. Should be available in the UK.
Personally I'm currently using a Pilot travel mug. It's just a cheap plastic travel mug from one of the bigger truck stop chains here in the US.
Hydroflask has been my go-to for stuff like that, and I believe they’re the only (or one of very few) major company that doesn’t use lead solder in the manufacturing process.
I know they're kind of a fad, but I genuinely love my Owala. The built in straw means an extra couple things to clean, but it does a pretty good job keeping things insulated and I've never had it leak.
