Can we stop calling it The mainstream media and start calling it The corporate media?
I'm a fan of Legacy Media, since the implication is that it will be deprecated and eventually removed.
Just this morning I came across a Time article that includes:
U.S. Ambassador to Canada Pete Hoekstra didn’t help matters when he told the Halifax Chamber of Commerce this month that he was “disappointed” with Canada’s “anti-American” reaction to the tariffs. “A Canada that it would be very easy to target with 500% steel tariffs, or one patriot missile aimed at Parliament Hill,” he added, rather incredulously.
But when I went to go find the source of that Hoekstra quote, I discovered it originates with (as far as I can tell) this Beaverton article. The Beaverton is satire like The Onion.
Holy shit! I mean I’m not surprised especially with this administration (again), sorry Canada please continue to boycott US and hope we clean up the garbage shit pile that’s on fire that is our nation…
