It was a little behind the scenes.

They're trying to get the right to own a higher percentage of local syndicate markets than is legal.

Edit: That article doesn't really get into it but Nextsar was the first to take Kimmel off the air before dit was ABC-wide.

Same for Stephen Colbert. With the bend guy that has the fake laugh, it's just so forced.

It's like the networks forced it on them to be my more diverse and connect to a larger audience. It only works if you're funny. You can't fake funny.
