It was nice event. Unfortunately, the media propaganda machine swiftly moved to paint the protests in a negative light. A friend of mine participating was furious that they were cleared out with tear gas and the press was leading with images of clashes with the police. And unsurprisingly, some useless social democrats condemned the "violence" of the protests (aka police beating up some students)

@merdaverse Sad, but that's not surprising. The media does the same thing elsewhere. Most governments are not happy that their citizens support Palestine, so the media "demonises" them.
