I am loving the new game. Especially that the devs didn't just extend hk but there are new mechanics like hornets downwards attack or the builtin kinda mantis claw. And the attack patterns of the enemy's. Its so much fun!

spoiler after ~6h in

Wait until you get to Hunter's March. The game basically turns into a platformer, and is not very forgiving. I'm currently stuck there.

You do get used to them.

spoiler for a region beginning with the letter G

You do eventually find a way to pogo straight down as an alternative moveset as well, and I've found that makes those pogo balls wayyyy easier.

Spoilers about ~7 hours inVery early into the game, it felt a bit like HK extended. But as the game progresses, it starts feeling more and more like its own thing.

Even Hornet's abilities that are similar to the Knight's still feel quite distinct, like her second pogo being more athletic, or her dash being an actual sprint instead of a supernatural force.

And after I got her kunai (?) attack, it made me think, it's similar in a sense to a platformer originally from the 3DS, where the protagonist still plays like herself from the previous game, but having to work with whatever she finds, and pretty well still.
