You forgot the automatic shoulder seat belt
Shit I still use those foil things in the windshield, how else do you keep your seats cool in the summer?
Purposely park north or east facing.
I pray for the heat to kill me when I enter the car.
Ventilated seats that turn on when I start my car from my phone?
Okay Mr moneybags
Everything old is new again.
I had a ‘96 Eclipse, and sprung (pun intended) for popped door locks (not sure what it’s called, but you use your key fob to open the doors using spring-loaded poppers). It worked fucking awesome, until the they stopped working. So when I had to roll up the driver window (manual crank) and close the doors, my best way in was through my trunk, and using a coat hanger to pull the door latch.
Ah, the good ol’ days.
I did this too!
Also the mini flashlight so you can find the keyhole.
I miss manual windows.
Every car I had with manual windows had at least one broken crank handle.
I've never broken a powered window.
conversely, I've never had a manual window fail, and in fact the windows on one car in my driveway right now can be actuated more quickly casually cranking by hand than any of the motorized ones on my own car. and the window is around 30% taller for the manual one.
Every car I've had with electric windows has had a window motor fail.
mine haven't failed yet, but they're slow as fuck, and I've had to clean the switches on the driver's controls twice because one kept getting stuck down (not the switch, the window - the switch up position wouldn't make contact)
