conversely, I've never had a manual window fail, and in fact the windows on one car in my driveway right now can be actuated more quickly casually cranking by hand than any of the motorized ones on my own car. and the window is around 30% taller for the manual one.
mine haven't failed yet, but they're slow as fuck, and I've had to clean the switches on the driver's controls twice because one kept getting stuck down (not the switch, the window - the switch up position wouldn't make contact)
I miss manual windows.
