You can forward messages. My whole workplace seems to be unaware of this despite the fact that I do it all the time.
Forwarding messages is only good if you have a single message to send. If someone sends messages as sentences instead of complete thoughts, or if there's a back and forth, screenshots are still much superior.
In my last company we used Teams, and forward feature was only available in mobile apps, not the desktop apps or browser. Don't know what's the case, today.
I hate teams so much, people want an instant response on something from me. At the same time, I also love being able to receive an instant response back from people.
It's like now we have opened the box we cant close it...
I've never had those issues with Slack. You can easily add people to an existing conversation or just forward threads
