didn't think I'd stay committed this long but let's keep going!
It's a classic, it's a bop, I love Iroha. All around a really cool song with lyrics about feeling out of place and dreading the future that I think every teenager/young adult can relate to. Also, if you like this, go listen to his other songs! Despite this song's popularity, none of his other songs get even remotely close to the same views, even though they're all very good too!
I like Nashimoto's music because it's just so raw. The mixing isn't quite right, the tuning is the bare minimum, but it just hits me in a way not a lot of artists do. Also helps that I have a thing for Vocaloid music with real instruments probably.
I really like this song. It gives me a weirdly comforting feeling and I cannot explain why. Last Night, Good Night also gives me the same feeling even though they're very different songs. I think it might be a fake nostalgia for an era of the internet never experienced, but that might also just be my brain making up an explanation for a feeling I don't understand.
4: Hachi - Wonderland and the Sheep's Song
I really like this era of Hachi songs. I know Kenshi Yonezu has pretty much settled into Rock now, but I wish he started experimenting more again. There are other songs of his I would like to talk about, but I'll wait until they get chosen by the shuffle. I will say though that his first album is my favourite, just so you can get a clearer picture of my taste (it is still very all-over-the-place).
One of my favourite Kikuo songs. Upbeat melody with interesting synths and depressing lyrics, pretty much everything he's known for packed into one song while still sounding unique among his discography. One of the reasons he's been hanging around near the top of my favourite musicians for a few years now.
I usually never really cared about having multiple songs by one artist in the same post, but this time the shuffle gave me 4 songs by Nashimoto Ui back to back, so I think I'll change that going forward. From now on, every post will include 5 different artists.
