Would you approve of this for a good purpose? Just asking. Won't actually do it.

If it happened overnight, probably a lot of people would starve. An individual not getting to eat at their favourite shit-house would just go to the shop and buy some "real food". If everyone individual couldnt then suddenly the food shops are getting hit hard and would sell out in no time. Not to mention the panic-buying that would start up. People likely getting trampled to death and all sorts, stabbed up in the car park for their eggs and stuff.

If the fast food places quietly went away over a month or two everything would be fine.

No one would starve... the impact that fast food has is on what is grown and harvested.

McDonald’s mandates a particular type of potato for thier fries with no blemishes, so the company mandates a certain insecticide that the farmers have learned to stay inside when it is applied.

Coffee growth and harvesting is a brutal business but I am not sure if that can be pinned just on Starbucks.

If the fast food places where denied product I think the long term impact might be on prices..

Why do they stay inside? Is it like a secret?

Oh, so the potatoes aren't really good for health? How is this even legal?

I haven't been to a fast food restaurant in ages, most restaurants I do frequent are because the food is good and I want to support them. I think I'd be fine as long as there were still grocery stores.

Hunger is a pretty powerful motivator, so I'm sure people will find a way

Didn’t we find out during covid that groceries (in the US) carry about 3 days worth of food? So no.
