If the devs didn’t want me to reload the game, they’d have made it so I couldn’t save in conversations and combat (at the very least). Clearly they were cool with it as part of the intended play experience, so I see no reason to be apologetic about it.
Definitely no need to. Let the people play as they want.
I'm "save-scumming" on my first playthrough. But I'm really looking forward for my "just roll (pun intended) with the flow"-playthrough aswell!
My approach is basically: One playthrough for the story I want. One playthrough for the story the game gives me. One playthrough where I just be an evil fucking bastard.
I literally say all the wrong things. Basically everyone I met is dead (I killed them) and I already lost Astarion permanently. But it is still a lot of fun.
That's an amazing way to play. Making mistakes, messy run, but it feels real.
