So did the west. It was pathetic. What a weak little baby you elected America.

This is nothing new. I’d love for the Russians to release what they have on Trump.

[-] Corkyskog@sh.itjust.works 68 points 5 days ago

What could it possibly be that his supporters would care about? Even if it's a pedophile thing, we already know about the Epstein files. His supporters wore diapers to rallies, if it was just a piss thing, it would probably just become all the rage with conservatives.

been so jarring watching all my "hardcore patriot" acquaintances go wtf I love Russia now just in the last five years

like, it makes sense but it was just so sudden you know?

[-] wulrus@lemmy.world 9 points 4 days ago

Conspiracy theory:

Soviet Union realises it'll never become the sole superpower by conventional means. Makes "stupid" decisions, collapses, becomes "democracy". Let things calm down for a few decades, then plant a pro-Russian president (Communist president would have been too radical). Suddenly, it's the right that is pro-Russia. Now, bring back Communism and the Soviet Union.

MAGA-patriots: Yay, Communism!!! Tankies: Unsure what side to pick

Didn't the German commies sell the actual German socialists down the river by supporting the Nazis?

[-] tankplanker@lemmy.world 3 points 4 days ago

Murder raping a child who looks like Ivanka and he calls Ivanka?

Being reamed by a tall black guy while he moans Obama Obama?

I actually think his base would be more put out by the second option

[-] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 5 points 4 days ago

i really hope it's not proof of a pedophile thing because of what his supporters would do

[-] Kirp123@lemmy.world 9 points 5 days ago

Yep, the people supporting Trump are not rational, they are in a cult and they will justify pretty much anything to keep the cult going.

[-] Zephorah@discuss.online 11 points 5 days ago

It’s not new. Trump has an obsequious demeanor whenever he is around Putin.

[-] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 3 points 5 days ago

He's a total sub when around Putin.

[-] Gammelfisch@lemmy.world 3 points 5 days ago

The former KGB 6th Directorate might have more files on the bastard.

[-] MedicPigBabySaver@lemmy.world 87 points 5 days ago

Release the Trump/Epstein files

[-] drunkpostdisaster@lemmy.world 17 points 4 days ago

Fat orange bitch needs to leap forward in time to the part where he hangs himself with at stupid fucking tie in a bunker.

I wonder if he would turn purple or stay orange

[-] TemplaerDude@sh.itjust.works 26 points 4 days ago

Americans are a joke

[-] ohellidk@sh.itjust.works 64 points 5 days ago

Just another meeting with the boss!

[-] Gammelfisch@lemmy.world 43 points 5 days ago

Yep, Krasnov knows he's a Moscow puppet. FFS it was a Helsinki 2018 repeat.

[-] FreshParsnip@lemmy.ca 39 points 5 days ago

Release the trump/epstein files so we can get on with imposing no consequences whatsoever, so we can get on with NOT removing him from office even with blatant evidence of crimes that should have disqualified him from the presidency

[-] ur_ONLEY_freind@lemmy.zip 16 points 4 days ago

How would the world react to Trump and Putin secretly being in a relationship? Like if a video leaked of Trump on his knees giving Putin a sloppy backstage of an event they were both at?

[-] FreshParsnip@lemmy.ca 15 points 4 days ago

Would be funny to see MAGA have to pretend they're cool with gay people now, or at least with one gay person

[-] kent_eh@lemmy.ca 16 points 4 days ago
[-] unconsequential@slrpnk.net 31 points 5 days ago

I mean this is the same guy who pulls out chairs for genocidal war criminals (Netanyahu) so… he’s just staying on brand.

[-] suspicious_hyperlink@lemmy.today 31 points 5 days ago
[-] RampantParanoia2365@lemmy.world 5 points 4 days ago

Is the video in the article? I don't see it.

[-] some_guy@lemmy.sdf.org 2 points 3 days ago

Publishing and leaking are not the same thing.

Enh. Potayto Potahto.

[-] DicJacobus@lemmy.world 2 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

besides the fact that he's comprimised and subordinate to him, its a big deal to trump that he thinks its going to be him that stops this war, as if anyone in the world could stop it outher than bunker grandfather vova, (Putin)

its a big deal to trump's brand, he's been whining about the nobel peace prize earlier, stuff like that in their mind, legitimizes their regime.

What’s bizarre is this was posted on nottheonion@lemmy.world. I commented that Arnold, the Reagan Republican, posted a reaction vid in which he refers to Trump as a “wet noodle”.

The entire thread is now gone. This happens a lot with mild criticism of Trump.

Is Lemmy.world state media for Trump?

[-] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 13 points 5 days ago

? I dunno, I didn’t see it there.

There’s, uh, a little bit of trump criticism on .world . . .

[-] WhiskyTangoFoxtrot@lemmy.world 7 points 5 days ago

It's just whataboutism. There's been extensive, well-sourced evidence of instances like .ml abusing their powers to support authoritarian dictatorships, so to to muddy the waters a lot of people are spamming ".world bad" at every opportunity. Notice how they never give examples of any of .world's supposedly massive wrongdoings, they just treat it as something everyone knows.

As for this example, it probably wasn't Onion-y enough.

??

Is Lemmy.world state media for Trump?

No.

[-] Typhoon@lemmy.ca 3 points 4 days ago* (last edited 4 days ago)

The modlog explains why it was removed.

Removed Post Kremlin Leaks Footage Showing Trump Fawning Over Putin
reason: Not really Onion-y, and the source is RT.

[-] Octavio@lemmy.world 5 points 4 days ago

Wow, we’ve really become inured to the absurd horror of it all when “Kremlin Leaks Footage Showing Trump Fawning Over Putin” is deemed “Not really Onion-y.”

In a sane world a headline like that would be so outlandish it could only be satire.

[-] Zephorah@discuss.online 3 points 4 days ago

The onion becoming reality is our present situation.

[-] moakley@lemmy.world 1 points 4 days ago

That Arnold comment was from the first Trump presidency.

[-] Zephorah@discuss.online 1 points 4 days ago

And yet it’s still relevant. Wet noodle is spot on when Trump is in Putin’s vicinity.
