I dont know if forgive us the correct term, but I think people should get done credit for admitting they were wrong and changing their mind.

It's so rare for deep in the red magas and if you're just gonna keep piling on them after they admit it, you're probably going to push away other potential come to lighters from actually doing it.

That said, I understand the sentiment. I think anyone arguing a right wing point with a "good" moral background should be shut down arguments like "the trans/drags/gays are hurting children" or "the dems are ignoring the constitution/attacking our freedoms" etc can be completely ignored as bullshit, because when they had a taste of power they were 100% on board for "their team" doing those things.

The only ones trying to stop this are the elites, MAGA influencers, and politicians. You go anywhere online right now and everyone, regardless of political views, is calling for the files to be released. This doesn't just have momentum, it's basically full steam ahead at this point. I went to r/conservative on reddit and they are absolutely pissed. They still don't believe that Trump is involved in some instances, but they are up in arms about this. It's crazy how Trump is so narcissistic and in love with himself that he didn't realize that people actually care about the horrific things that happened to the victims and want consequences for the people involved. He thought that people would love him unconditionally no matter how horrible he acted. Turns out there is a line and he crossed it (For now, at least)

If they’re willing to vote for anything other than a republican, I’ll pretend to be nice to them. I just don’t see that happening. Even if they did, I’m kinda concerned that it won’t matter anymore. This feckless group of nazis is going to lie cheat and steal every election going forward.
