Vitaly got into hot water with Filipino law after he was seen grabbing a security guard’s hat and trying to take a gun from another guard during a stream. He was also heard threatening to rob a woman in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.

Specific allegations involve harassing and attempting to kiss security guards, attempting to seize a security guard’s firearm, and unlawfully recording individuals without consent.

Furthermore, he is accused of stealing a patrol motorcycle, an electric fan from a restaurant, and a tricycle—all of which were reportedly later abandoned—and fabricating negative online reviews for local businesses, as well as engaging in acts of vandalism.

Once the court cases are resolved, Zdorovetskiy is expected to be deported as an 'undesirable alien.' However, bother the US and Russia, where the YouTuber holds both passports, refuse to acknowledge and deport him. Until then, he remains under maximum security in Muntinlupa.

Not quite enough. Give him 20 more years.

"trying to grab to take a gun from a security guard"

Okay so obviously almost nowhere else is as insane as the US when it comes to firearms and therefore most people would have much better discipline when handling them and discharging or even pulling one, but the one thing I am sure of almsoy anywhere in the world is that you should NEVER try to grab someone else's gun from them unless you're prepared to get shot with it.

Dudes lucky he didn't do that in Texas or Florida.

All IRL streamers are nuisance streamers.

"Action Kid" on YT does walking conversational tours through NY or Chicago, I can't remember which. They're nice, low-engagement where he's just sorta talking about what he sees.

So he’s a professional asshole?

What a job.

Capital punishment sounds real good right about now

I actually don't know anything about this guy. But stumbled on him while reading about Filipino prisons and how inhumane they were.

Fun facts about Filipino prisons:

  • Some facilities are 400-500% over capacity. This means people sleep in shifts, on floors, in hallways.
  • Access to clean drinking water, sufficient food, and basic necessities like soap and toothpaste can be limited. Families often bring those in prison basic supplies and even give them money to rent a real bad.

This isn't even a traditional prison. This is effectively a "short-term" holding facility for immigration cases. I put short term in quotes cause the average stay is like 2 years. It's dirty, it's crowded, you sleep head to foot with thousands of other people, he gets a dollar and 30 cents of food a day, like all the other detainees.

He could not deserve it more. He got a pittance for brutally beating a woman while on mushrooms. This is the payback.

That's the neat part! From April until yesterday, he was in immigration. He's actually been transferred as of yesterday!

Controversial internet personality Vitaly Zdorovetskiy has reportedly been transferred to the custody of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) in the Philippines.

Plus, it's 40 degrees celsius.

And everyone has scabies & lice.

Then they make you dance for PR videos

Literally hell on earth.

[-] SkyezOpen@lemmy.world 12 points 1 day ago

Nobody deserves that, but like if I had to make a list of people who don't deserve it the most, he'd be near the bottom.

[-] Ruminare@feddit.org 5 points 1 day ago

He was once on bang bus and couldn't get it up. I thought he washed up after that. Didn't even know he still made YouTube videos.

[-] Death_Equity@lemmy.world 8 points 1 day ago

ED is a side effect of steroids... Maybe he should have popped a blue bomber if he knew he was going on the bus?

[-] match@pawb.social 2 points 21 hours ago

Shit, buddy, you should hear about the not-prison conditions

[-] motor_spirit@lemmy.world 22 points 1 day ago

Idk that this is particularly interesting in any way but hearing that a fucking moron is being properly dealt with is always pleasant

[-] xep@fedia.io 28 points 1 day ago

Until we also penalize the platforms for incentivizing these people, there will be more like Vitaly.

[-] lobut@lemmy.ca 3 points 14 hours ago

I genuinely feel as though those that donate to nuisance streamers to cause problems should be punished too. It's a technical and legal nightmare I know.

I'll settle for those platforms being held liable too.

[-] aramis87@fedia.io 17 points 1 day ago

Must've been hard coming off all those steroids cold turkey - good!
